Hey dudes and dudettes, how’s everybody coping with the election watching?
It’s certainly not much different over here in Taiwan (other than the extremely low cases of COVID).
Oh, and that most of the local population is actually pro-Trump because he’s been much more aggressive with the CCP than previous administrations. It leads to interesting conversations, to say the least.
Also, I took a month off of article writing. I decided I wanted to take a week or two off to enjoy myself and work on some other side projects—and that quickly turned into five. Oops.
Nonetheless, I’m back here writing now (and just wrote up my 1st Medium article).
I’ve taken this time to reflect on how to move forward with my writing and ventures, so you might see a change in my work in the coming months. I’m going to focus more on specific areas to try to build up a bit of an ‘asset base’ of subjects.
This last year of writing was certainly fun, but I wrote about anything and everything that popped into my mind. It helped build a desire and passion to write—but it definitely didn’t pay the bills (thanks to my former career for that part).
I’d love to hear your feedback over the next few weeks on what you guys think, after all, you are my target audience.
One other neat thing I did finish up this last month—I published my first ever book (with the help of an amazing local artist friend of mine here)!
ABC’s for MAGA Kids: The Alphabet According to Trump
It’s an adult children’s political satire book based on the premise that DJ Trump could write and teach the ABC’s (in his warped perception of the world).
So if you’re a Trump fan—you might not want to click the link.
And if you aren’t—I made the ebook version free for a few days over the next week, so check it out! And if you’re really kind, I would love any positive reviews!
I need to beat the Amazon algorithms now in addition to Medium’s…a new battlefront if you will.
(PS. the image above is from the book)
