He was an English poet and engraver from the 19th century, noted for his unconventional subject matter.

It looks a bit like some of William Blake's illustrated books- except Blake never went so far as to invent his own almost indecipherable language!

As someone who both invented a language both written and spoken, I love stories like this. I am hoping that 1500 years from now, someone will be looking at my stuff and Wonder what it says. Need to add some pictures, though. Thanks for another great read.

What an intrigue! And, I love a good mystery too. Did someone more recently find paper that old, and somehow fabricate this hoax? Laughing as you said all the way to their grave because no one will probably ever find the answer!
