Things like this happen all the time, my life is full of them. For example, if there had been room in Art class in Grade 5, I never would have met my husband. A lot of times we don't recognize the little thing that led to much bigger things.

There was a Tweet or something I once saw that talked about how we always analyze all the little things in the past that we screwed up or missed out on to end up where we are, but then discount the little things we can do today to change our future in big ways. Stuck with me.

That is so true! We often forget that it takes time to figure out whether a decision was correct or not. It's usually the day to day stuff that gets us to the future, not the one offs. Sometimes I like to look back at decisions I made and wonder how life would be different if I had gone the other way, but things happen for a reason.

Whoa. And yet the irony is not lost on me that a porn star hush money scandal barely made a dent in the base’s opinion of the following president, possibly due to eight years of the prior president. The domino effect continued?

I guess that's the problem with butterfly effects, they can just keep extending out in branches into perpetuity.
