Now that I have stopped laughing, I would like to add one thing I feel you did not mention. Whenever you do a Google search, the first few answers are always advertisements. I did a search for a translation of a German sentence, and the first responses were advertisements for dictionaries.
It was great the way you introduced your cat. He seems to be as quirky as his owner - or with cats, they own us and train us to feed and pet them. If you aren't yet owned by a cat -GET ONE.
But then there's the other mysterious and somewhat annoying characteristic of commenters on recipe blogs: tweakers..."I loved this souvlaki recipe! I substituted the pork for lamb and mint for the oregano and omitted the lemon juice and olive oil as I'm on a diet. Instead of bar-b-queing, I put it in the oven and served it not with the suggested rice and tsatziki, but with mashed potatoes, peas and gravy. It was awesome!"

It's crazy how many ways Google makes money off of their search engine. It should all be donated to cats.
