Right, it's a joke...but US Democrats need to use extreme caution and make sure they use "racist" only to refer to things that genuinely demonstrate race bigotry, NOT to any point of view other than their own...because "D use of 'racist' is always dishonest" is already a cheap stereotype Republicans are starting to exploit. Don't be the stereotype.
I read where a comedian said that the source of all humor is pain. Certainly your example of the elephant and the doctors caused some pain - real or imagined.
I couldn't agree more about your jab at American Thanksgiving. I'm sure it is NOT celebrated in native American households.
